1- Stop Leak (Positive Water Pressure Waterproofing): Stop Leak is a single-component waterproofing or sealing and protective coating based on water-based copolymers, white in color with the ability to change to any desired color by the client. Its properties include flexibility, long durability, and very high adhesion to concrete, metal pipes, and other materials. This waterproofing is designed and developed solely to control positive water pressure and is not effective against negative water pressure. For controlling negative water pressure using Stop Leak, the surface must first be covered with a special negative pressure water control primer, i.e., Clear Bond, and then Stop Leak should be applied on top.

Its application is very easy and it emits no unpleasant odors or fumes during application and use.

• How to Use Stop Leak (Positive Water Pressure): If you are using Stop Leak for positive water pressure control:

• First, remove and repair damaged areas on the surface such as cracked concrete parts. A smoother surface reduces Stop Leak consumption and makes waterproofing economically more efficient.
• Clean the surface thoroughly, remove all contamination and dust, and dry completely.
• Spray a thin layer of the special positive pressure primer onto the surface (approximately 1 kg covers about 5 square meters). If spray equipment is not available, apply the primer with a brush, resulting in slightly higher consumption.
• At this stage, reinforce intersections of horizontal and vertical surfaces with a 10 cm wide fiberglass mesh. It's not necessary to cover the entire surface with mesh; apply the mesh while the primer is still sticky and press it into place with your palm.
• After the primer dries (dryness test: touching surface with hand – no adhesion means dry), apply Stop Leak. Drying time depends on conditions and is about 2 to 3 hours.
• Stop Leak should be applied in at least two layers. Usually, two layers suffice but sometimes up to three layers may be necessary depending on project conditions.
• Stir Stop Leak well for 5 minutes with a drill mixer or by hand (longer stirring for manual mixing) to ensure homogeneity. To change the color from white to a preferred color, add pigment or acrylic paint (max a few cc or up to 1 kg per 20 kg bucket) during mixing. If using multiple buckets, ensure consistent color dosing for uniformity.
• Apply the first layer with spray, brush, or roller and let it dry completely. This typically takes 3 to 5 hours but it's recommended to wait 24 hours.
• Apply the second layer perpendicular to the first and let it dry fully. It also dries within 24 hours but final drying and test readiness require about one week for full strength.

If using Stop Leak for negative water pressure control:

• All steps are similar to positive pressure control except the primer type changes to Clear Bond, a special primer for negative water pressure.

• Consumption of Stop Leak (Negative Water Pressure):

• Approximately 700 grams to 1 kilogram per square meter depending on surface porosity.

• Safety and Protection:

• This material is not classified as hazardous or harmful to health or the environment, but it must not be ingested or come into contact with the eyes.
• Stop Leak is non-toxic but use gloves, goggles, and work clothes during application.
• In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of fresh water.
• If ingested, seek medical attention immediately.
• This material is not flammable.
