Technical Specifications of Hunter Irrigation Controller (Smart Irrigation Timer)

• The Hunter irrigation controller or timer is offered to valued customers in two types: Outdoor and Indoor. • The difference between the indoor and outdoor timers is that in the closed or outdoor system, the controller receives numerical data from sensors, which we have predetermined, and issues commands to open and close the solenoid valves, causing changes in the irrigation system. For example, it can be set so that if the moisture sensor falls below 20%, solenoid valve number 2 starts operating. In the outdoor system, all commands are predetermined and given to the controller. For instance, at 2 PM every day, solenoid valve number 3 irrigates section 4 for 2 hours. Therefore, this controller does not require installation of temperature, humidity, sunlight sensors, etc. For this reason, the controller must be reset because it does not respond to environmental and climatic changes. This system is cheaper and highly flexible.
