Silab Zist Tehran sand filter can be manufactured in vertical and horizontal filter types depending on the required water flow capacity and placement. This filter, in terms of piping system and operation method, can be made and delivered in manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic types according to order. The tanks of Silab Zist Tehran water purification filters are made of steel sheets with appropriate thickness, and after sandblasting, they are coated with epoxy anti-corrosion paint. For special applications involving corrosive waters and wastewaters, the filter bodies are offered in fiberglass or stainless steel. The sand filter bed consists of graded silica with 98% purity in three layers: coarse, medium, and fine, and if necessary, with an anthracite layer as the top layer. Silica or anthracite grains inside the filter rest on a steel plate known as the nozzle plate. The nozzle plate is equipped with a suitable number of water passage nozzles.
