Silab Zist Tehran sand filters can be manufactured in vertical and horizontal filter types depending on the required water flow capacity and placement. This filter system can be built and delivered in manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic operation modes according to order, based on the piping system and operation method. In automatic types, the device is equipped with programmable valves with fully automatic performance. The tanks of Silab Zist Tehran water filtration filters are made from steel sheets of appropriate thickness, which after sandblasting are coated with epoxy anti-corrosion paint. For special applications involving corrosive waters and wastewaters, the filter bodies are offered in fiberglass or stainless steel.
The sand filter bed consists of graded silica with 98% purity in three layers: coarse, medium, and fine, and if necessary, with a layer of anthracite as the top layer.
The silica or anthracite grains inside the filter rest on a steel plate known as the nozzle plate. The nozzle plate is equipped with a suitable number of water passage nozzles. These nozzles have narrow grooves that allow only water to pass through while retaining the silica behind them.
