Furthermore, propylene carbonate has excellent compatibility with various polymers and acts as a plasticizer or solvent, enhancing flexibility and aiding in the processability of polymers. Propylene carbonate is stable under inert conditions and has excellent shelf life when stored under appropriate conditions (at temperatures below 35 degrees Celsius and in sealed containers).
