Tri -ethylene glycol is a two -factor alcohol and a colorless, odorless and non -flammable liquid, also known as Teg and C6H14O4 chemical formula.
Tri -ethylene glycol is the third member of the series of dual -factor alcohols and, along with mono and di -ethylene glycol, is produced as a by -product of direct hydration hydroxide reaction. TEG is preferably used in cases where higher welding temperatures and less volatility than glycol diethylene. TEG is a little soluble in ethanol, acetone, acetic acid, glycerin, pyridine and aldehyde, in a slightly soluble dihythyl ether and cannot be dissolved in oil, fat and most hydrocarbons.
It is used as a plasticage in vinyl polymers and in the production of air disinfectants and other products. Tryethylene glycol is known for its high moisture absorption and increasing water dehydration from natural gas.

Tryethylene glycol is a conventional plastic that improves the flexibility of vinyl polymers. This product is used for colorless and low running, it is used in floors, Automotive Safety Glass and commercial and office windows.

Apart from disinfecting natural gas, triathylene glycol is used in the production of many industrial and commercial products such as solvents, adhesives, lubricants, polyurethane foams, emulsifiers andrmoplastics.
This product is also used as a reactor in the production of polyester resins used in the production of various textile materials, packaging, car body and electrical items.

Teg is a very good solvent and is used in a variety of areas such as detergents, printing ink, ink solvent, Steam Set Printing Ink, unsaturated polyester resins, plasticage and aromatic hydrocarbons separation.

Tryethylene glycol is also used in the production of some products such as antifreeze, car products, construction equipment, leather products, fuel, lubricants and greases and plastic products.
The moisturizing properties of this product have been used in the preparation of fibers, paper, adhesive, printing ink, leather and cellophane.
