بیشتر توصیه می شود همینطور با توجه به اینکه اساسا فراورده های چوبی بر اثر عوامل محیطی دچار انقباض و انبساط شده الوارهای ترمو نمی توانند به صورت کامل و بدون درز به یکدیگر بچسبند و بر اساس جغرافیا بین یک تا سه میلی متر بین آنها فاصله باید باشد که اگر باب سلیقه شما نیست می توانید از روش نصب ترمووود به شکل قابلمه ای یا کشویی استفاده کنید که الوار ها به صورت نر و ماده در یکدیگر می روند و هیچ درزی بین
