Triple Super Phosphate fertilizer is a solid and slow phosphate fertilizer that contains 46 % phosphorus. After consumption, the granules absorb and dissolve, which results in the release of phosphate ions in the soil solution, followed by phosphate reaction to soil components. In the residual granule and on the common surface of the soil and fertilizer, phosphorus behavior is more influenced by the nature of salts and phosphorus chemistry in granule than chemical properties.

The main compound of phosphorus is dissolved in a solution enriched with phosphorus that begins to move away from the granule, but deposits some of the phosphorus inside and around the granular. If used at the simultaneous use of the Triple Super Phosphate fertilizer with lime or consumption in calcareous soils, the dissolution of the superphosphate will be significantly reduced.
