Black Hard Anodizing

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that develops a natural protective layer of metal on the metal surface. Unlike painting and plating processes, anodic coating is not applied to the surface, but oxide is formed on the metal surface and then grows inwards and outwards, resulting in a much harder and more resistant surface. It shows against corrosion and abrasion in comparison with metal surface.

Anodizing can be applied on metals such as aluminum, magnesium, titanium. It has always been believed in anodizing that higher voltage causes the particles to grow faster or faster, but in fact the current density parameter is the main factor in the growth and control of the particles.
