The amount of salt required for each liter of resin is a kilogram of salt, which is used as a salt water solution for regeneration. The first time the resin is regenerated by salt water, it is better to regenerate it with distilled water and not to use the water entering the factory to produce salt water. At the end of the regeneration, the resin is washed with fresh water to remove the excess salt. In this work, if rock salt or high-purity industrial salts are used, the life of the resin will increase, and the cationic resin washed with sodium chloride or salt will regain its properties.
