The Matic Edisecure ILM-LS is designed to add a powerful protective layer to printed cards as a specialized and high-speed solution. With perfect integration with XID Series printers, the device automatically performs one -way laminate process, fast, and highest quality, and produces abrasive -resistant cards.

### Technology Explanation: Mechanism of International thermal lamination

The technology used in the ILM-LS module is a precise and engineered process based on three key principles: thermal lamination, intra-line design and variety of consumables.

Thermal Laminite:
The heart of this process is controlled heat and pressure. After the card is removed from the printing unit and enters the ILM-LS module, a laminate film movie is opened from the roll and placed on the card surface. Then, the card and the film pass through the thermal rollers. At this point, the precise and adjustable temperature (between 90 and 180 degrees Celsius) activates the special adhesive behind the laminate film and the roller pressure attaches it to the card surface.
Importance of adjustable temperature: Temperature adjustable is a critical technical feature. Different card makers (such as PVC, PET, PC) and a variety of laminate films require different temperatures for optimal adhesion. This capability ensures that the laminate process is performed at maximum quality without damaging the card or creating a bubble.

In-Line Integration:
The term "intra -line" means the physical and operational integration of the laminate module with the printer. The ILM-LS module is connected to printers such as MATICA XID8300 by a connecting plate. This connection creates a direct and automatic card transfer path. As such, the card is directly entered into the laminate module without the need for any hand interference and the protection process is applied to it.
