Magnetic drums are used for automatic separation of iron pieces from raw materials for three purposes: 1- Recovery of valuable magnetite and hematite minerals in iron ore mines, etc. 2- Demagnetization of materials for purification and quality improvement in various industries 3- Removal of iron particles that cause serious damage when entering crushing machines.
How it works: Separation by the magnetic drum results from the rotation of a cylindrical shell around a fixed magnetic field. When the input materials fall onto the drum surface, non-magnetic materials fall naturally along the path, while iron is attracted to the drum and rotates on the shell until the last point of the magnetic presence and is discharged behind the drum.
Available in three groups: low field intensity (Lims), medium field intensity (Mims), and high field intensity (Hims).
