Body Material The body material is made of steel, which is most commonly used in hygienic environments and the food industry. In this sensor, all necessary requirements to provide IP66 standard have been observed.
Calibration In designing this sensor, maximum effort has been made to make its settings and use very simple. For calibration, it is enough to press and hold the Z key for one second when the tank is empty; the corresponding LED will blink. After the LED turns off, fill the tank and press and hold the F key for one second; the corresponding LED will blink. After it turns off, the sensor is calibrated.
Application This sensor is used to measure the level of materials inside tanks and the output current changes proportionally with the material level from 4 mA to 20 mA. This sensor is suitable for many materials, has a long service life, and requires very little maintenance.
Operation Type The sensor operates based on changes in the capacitance between the probe and the sensor body. When materials fill the space between the probe and the body, the capacitance changes and is shown at the output. If the tank body is non-metallic, by installing a special pipe provided with the sensor, an auxiliary electrode is created, and the sensor measures the material level under the same conditions.
Probe Material All parts of the sensor that are placed inside the tank are made of stainless steel S304 and heat-resistant PTFE Teflon, which work in almost all industrial environments without causing problems, eliminating the possibility of corrosion, deterioration, or characteristic changes.
