Grindometer is a device for measuring particles of coatings, suspensions and liquid paints. This device consists of a steel block with two deep channels. The depth of the channels decreases from top to bottom, and at the end, the channels are aligned with the surface of the block. The unit for measuring the depth of the channels is inserted next to them.

How to work with the device:
The sample to be tested is poured into the deep part of the channel and pulled towards the shallow part with a steel blade that is usually included with the grindometer. At the point where the depth of the channel is equal to the largest particles in the sample, the integrity of the coating film in the channels is lost, it will be visible in the form of lines or small holes.
