Steel sheet quality control system based on machine vision and artificial intelligence\r\n\r\n\r\nOne of the most important processes in the production of steel sheets is the identification and control of waste and defects on the sheet. The presence of any scratches, scratches, etc., causes a decrease in the quality and strength of the steel sheet, which in addition to reducing the competitiveness of the final product. In the target market, it will reduce the desire of the customer to prepare the final product. As a result, it is mandatory to carry out the inspection process in order to identify these defects. Visual inspection by the operator to identify these items during the production process always has many problems, including the impossibility of continuous and permanent inspection, the impossibility of seeing all the waste by the human eye, the fatigue of the human operator, etc. Meanwhile, the use of an automatic system can prevent the mentioned problems in addition to increasing the accuracy and speed of inspection. In this system, using artificial intelligence and image processing techniques, without human intervention, images are taken of the surface of the steel sheet, during their transfer, and based on the processing of the obtained images, the existence of any defect is identified and the type of defect, location and severity. It is stored and if needed, it is reported to the upper system in real time, so that, if necessary, it can reduce or eliminate them by controlling the mechanisms involved in the production process. Very high inspection speed and accuracy and no need to slow down the production line are the most important features of this system.\r\n\r\nBy photographing the surface of the steel sheet and using image processing and machine vision techniques, this system identifies existing defects without any interference in the production process, records the type of defect, their exact position and size and sends them to the system as information signals. It sends overhead (if available) which has a very high processing speed and can be implemented according to the needs of the employer in accordance with the width of the production sheets. \r\nThis system is able to identify the following defects with the indicated accuracy.\r\n1- Spot damage\r\n2- The impact of external matter\r\n3- Uneven galvanized layer\r\n4- spot spot (white)\r\n5- Folding\r\n6- alloy stains\r\n7- scratch\r\n\r\nBina Sanat Vira Company, a leader in the field of artificial intelligence and industrial machine vision in the country, is ready to build a steel sheet quality control system based on machine vision and artificial intelligence for steel sheet production factories.
